BS Isn't Shorthand for Benefit Statements

Kevin Paylow

A LinkedIn post alerted me to an AMAZING site: The Corporate B.S. Generator

If the benefit statements in YOUR presentation sounds like anything like the gems this site generates YOU'RE NOT DOING IT RIGHT.

Some examples from the generator:

  • "enthusiastically restore next-generation models"

  • "intrinsically engage client-centered leadership"

  • "credibly expedite sustainable services"

What should you do instead?

  • Talk about the benefits your AUDIENCE cares about

  • Link those benefits to your idea or product

  • If you've taken our Articulus Corporate Storytelling Workshop, remember to conduct the benefit statement exercise until it becomes second nature

Now go have fun playing with the Generator.
